FIRE FUND
What is it?
FIRE FUND, or El Shaddai Fibroids Research Fund, is our initiative to raise awareness regarding uterine fibroid tumors.
What is our Mission?
We seek to educate the public and to raise money to assist in funding the research of preventative measures and to provide support to marginalized and underserved communities impacted by this condition. According to The Center for Innovative GYN Care, "fibroids affect African American women disproportionately." While 70-80% of women will develop uterine fibroids by age 50, 90% of African American women will, and will develop them earlier and suffer from more severe symptoms.
How do we do it?
Our support is rendered in the form of activities that promote fibroid's awareness and research. Our company hosts seminars to educate the public regarding the nature of the condition and provides support groups for women impacted by it.
